Who we are
We are an Adelaide based dermatology clinic offering a patient-centred approach in treating all skin, hair and nail conditions. These include acne, eczema, psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases, contact dermatitis, hair and scalp disorders as well as skin cancer checks.
We are experienced in care for patients of all ages and enjoy offering continuity of care to many clients in the community.
What is a Dermatologist?
Dermatology is a medical specialty focused on diagnosing and treating diseases of the skin, hair and nails. To qualify as a dermatologist in Australia, one must complete a medical degree and later gain entry into the highly competitive dermatology specialist training program. This is a four year postgraduate program encompassing all medical, surgical and cosmetic aspects of dermatology. In the final year of training a multifaceted fellowship examination is held over several days. It is compulsory to pass all aspects of this to ensure the highest level of competence before being admitted as a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
